As most of you are aware, since our last Committee
Meeting, Mr. Hampton has decided to step down from his position as
Scoutmaster. This decision was not made
lightly, but with the needs of his family and the needs of the Troop being
carefully weighed. Mr. Hampton won’t be holding the position of scoutmaster but
still plans to have an active role in the Troop and with our sons. We are truly grateful to him for his years
of service and tireless effort to see “his” scouts reach Eagle.
Mr. Chris Wessel
has stepped down as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 5 to take on the Scoutmaster
position of a Troop in Chaffee, MO. We are sorry to see him go,
he and his family offered a lot to Troop 5 during the time they were with
us. We Congratulate Chris and wish his
family our best with their new Troop.

input of the parent committee as to whether or not Troop 5 wants to be involved
in Trade-O-Ree in the future. He will meet with us this evening.
