Compass Course

Kiwanis Park, Cape Girardeau

This Compass Course was set up on June 21, 2003, by Tony Kiel of Troop 16. It is over a mile long. The course is at Kiwanis Park, located between Perryville and Lexington streets. This will complete the requirement for First Class. 

The scout is to shoot the following coordinates and pace off the required feet to reach a fixed destination and write down the object which they have reached. Near Lexington Street, the scout must estimate the height of a light post. The course starts at the park sign near Perryville Road.
